Established in 2018, Tallaght University Hospital Foundation plans to start as we mean to go on. For this reason, we will publish our annual reports so that you, our valued supporter, can understand our income streams, where our investments will go and our expenditure in the best way possible.
Our ambition is to raise money in a variety of ways including donations from our patients, supporters, people leaving gifts in their wills, fundraising event days ,challenge events, partnerships and grant applications. We will also look to cultivate private donations from individuals and corporations to support our suite of campaigns.
Together we can transform how Irish healthcare works now and in the future.
Our Board of Directors carry the full governance responsibility for the organisation. By law, they have individual and joint responsibility for what happens within our Foundation. This means that if our Foundation does not meet its legal duties, the Board are responsible both as individuals and together as a board, committee, council or other core group (referred to in this Code as the ‘board’).
No Director receives any payment for their contribution or support for our Foundation.
At TUHF we are committed to the highest standard of Governance. Donors entrust their money to us, and we have the responsibility to ensure we are accountable for what we do and transparent in how we do it.
Our board are committed to obtaining and maintaining the highest level of standards of governance. We will regularly review our arrangements to ensure we are fulfilling our commitment to best practice in our governance and transparency
